Laguna Mare was founded in Venice and comes from Marco and Antonio’s long experience in the restaurant business and from their shared Neapolitan roots. Venice and Naples come together in this magical place, which overlooks the Venice lagoon and looks towards the open sea.



Antimo, the Chef
Marco: “We only use locally caught fish, taking care to choose seasonal products. But we also hold on to the flavors of our land, Campania: olive oil, oregano, tomatoes, mozzarella.
We even brought our Chef from Naples!”
A place that is easygoing, with a spectacular view, in an authentic resident district (perhaps one of the last in the city). This is where we found our home because those who know Venice know how welcoming this city can be. It surely has been for us: this is the third business we have opened in the city, and in each of our venues we have brought quality, expertise, and new ideas that the city has welcomed and praised.
